Teve in\u00edcio este m\u00eas a A\u00e7\u00e3o Cost\n\u201cTransnational Collaboration on Bullying, Migration and Integration at School\nLevel\u201d (TRIBES) na qual participa a investigadora do CIDTFF, Margarida Lucas,\nintegrada no Working Group 6 (WG6): \u201cE-Technology, Cyberbullying & Online\nSafety\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esta\na\u00e7\u00e3o COST pretende partilhar, avaliar e promover investiga\u00e7\u00e3o na melhoria da\nintegra\u00e7\u00e3o e redu\u00e7\u00e3o de abuso e bullying na escola, desenvolvendo medidas\natualizadas e recursos que possam ajudar \u00e0 cria\u00e7\u00e3o de ambiente de apoio e\nintegra\u00e7\u00e3o sustent\u00e1vel ao n\u00edvel da comunidade escolar, incluindo estudantes e\nadultos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Especificamente,\no WG6, integrado pela investigadora, tem como objetivos perceber com a\ntecnologia e internet poder\u00e3o ser (e s\u00e3o utilizadas) como uma ferramenta\npr\u00f3-social, na preven\u00e7\u00e3o e combate \u00e0 intoler\u00e2ncia racismo e xenofobia, e na\npromo\u00e7\u00e3o da inclus\u00e3o e respeito; e examinar at\u00e9 que ponto a comunidade escolar\ncomo um todo se encontra envolvida nestas a\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Segue-se\numa contextualiza\u00e7\u00e3o e resumo do projeto:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWith immigration a growing, permanent and\nfractious part of the EU\u2019s reality, integration is of foremost concern for\npolicy-makers in Europe, and schools are recognised as an essential part of\nsocial stability and a key aspect of integration policy both at national and EU\nlevel.  Schools provide crucial education for integration and citizenship,\nlong term directly affecting social status, professional achievement, economic\nearning power and students understanding of cultural morality and societal\nprinciples, allowing both the individual to prosper, and the state and EU to\nbenefit and build on their potential as a valuable new resource. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

School safety, building inclusion and\npreventing bullying for all students is central to integration and their\nwell-being.  Yet in the face of a far more diverse society schools face\nchallenges that they are largely not currently supported for.  The\nscientific measures of school safety used today are outdated and do not reflect\na modern, multi-cultural, multi-faith, Europe, while school communities are\nworking in a fragmented, individualised manner in the areas of inclusion and\nbullying prevention.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This proposed COST Action aims to: enhance collaboration between stakeholders to update, enhance and pilot new \u2018real world\u2019 scientific measures and approaches, collate evaluated interventions and approaches around inclusion and bullying prevention to disseminate a comprehensive program\/handbook for schools and a guideline policy document for authorities,\u00a0 building capacity, and working holistically towards ensuring the integration, safety and well-being of all students in EU secondary schools, to aid in the social stability of both the individual and society.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
