Abstract:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Considering,\nas main reference, Donald Sch\u00f6n\u2019s proposal (1983, 1987) on reflective\nprofessionals\u2019 training, and on action competencies development adjusted to\nsolving problems in dynamic and uncertain contexts and volatile circumstances,\nwe intend, in this letter<\/em>, to resume the reflection on system\nthinking<\/em>, considering that its singular design<\/em>, by the non-standard<\/em> nature\nthat characterizes it, constitutes the foundation of innovation and development\nprocesses. Taking into account the difficulties that resistance to change\nnecessarily brings to the training processes, we also reconvene, on the\nthread of history, the concept of deviation,<\/em> by means of an\nepistemic and (multi)referential examination of the importance of divergence,\nin its contours, contributions and boundaries, as a vital way to refresh and\nreinvent perceptions, knowledge and meanings. We highlight the possibility of\nchoice within decision-making processes, understanding it not only as a means\nto escape from mimetic repetition, but also as an outlet to the uncertain, the\nunpredictable, and the novel. That is, we intend to reflect on the nature of\nthe creative act as poiesis<\/em>, in its deep and seductive relation\nwith the creator\u2019s emancipation, the ethics underlying a compromise with human\nvalues, the aesthetics of adventure, and the appeal of the open work.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
